Heriz
The famous carpets of Heriz in northwestern Iran are characterised by monumental geometric designs.
Known for their high resistance and high knot count, they are made in Tabriz or Ardebil. Common patterns include the multi-branched star, the tree of life, the lotus flower. The manufactory produces carpets using the above patterns.
The carpet is very durable and easy to clean. The extremely high quality wool highlights the original nomadic motifs of plants and animals.
