About this rug
In one of Iran's oldest cities, carpet production has been documented as early as the 9th century. Smaller carpets are currently produced. This makes prices affordable. The designs stylize the geometric shapes of squares, diamonds and hexagons. The patterns used are, for example, Boteh and Herati.
